What We Do

Claim Representation That Actually Works

From the first inspection to the final check, we handle every step of your claim so you're not fighting the insurance company alone.

๐Ÿ

Public Adjusting

Licensed representation for homeowners and commercial property owners across Texas and Oklahoma. We document your full damage, prepare the Xactimate estimate, and negotiate directly with your insurer.

  • No upfront fees โ€” contingency basis
  • Drone and infrared inspection technology
  • Residential and commercial claims
  • Denied and underpaid claim specialists
  • Expert insurer negotiation
โš–๏ธ

Insurance Appraisal

When your insurer's settlement is too low and negotiation stalls, Texas law gives you the right to resolve the dispute through appraisal โ€” faster and cheaper than a lawsuit, with a binding result.

  • Licensed TX insurance appraiser
  • Typically resolves in 30 to 60 days
  • No court involvement required
  • Binding on both parties
  • Residential, commercial, and contractor

Claim Types

We Handle Every Type of Property Claim

Whether your loss is from a hail storm, a burst pipe, or a fire โ€” and whether your insurer paid too little, delayed, or denied โ€” we know how to fight for what you're owed.

๐ŸŒฉ๏ธ Hail & Wind Storm

North Texas ranks among the highest hail-damage metros in the country. We document the full scope โ€” roof, siding, gutters, HVAC, windows โ€” and fight for true replacement cost.

๐Ÿšซ Denied Claims

A denial isn't always the final word. Many denied claims are improper โ€” built on exclusions that don't apply or documentation that missed key damage. We reopen them.

๐Ÿ’ง Water & Pipe Burst

From storm-driven rain intrusion to the February 2021 freeze โ€” water claims are routinely scoped too narrowly. We document every affected surface and fight for full restoration cost.

๐Ÿ”ฅ Fire & Smoke

Fire claims involve structure, contents, smoke infiltration, and temporary housing. We document the complete loss and make sure nothing is left out of your settlement.

๐Ÿข Commercial Property

Warehouses, offices, retail centers, apartment complexes, churches, and more. Commercial claims involve business interruption, ordinance and law, and specialty coverages insurers rarely volunteer.

โš–๏ธ Underpaid Settlements

Already settled but left with less than you needed? As long as you haven't signed a final release, we can review your scope, identify what was missed, and pursue the difference.

FAQ

Common Questions

What does a public adjuster actually do?
A public adjuster works for you, not the insurance company. We inspect your property, document every item of damage, prepare a professional Xactimate estimate, and negotiate directly with your insurer's adjuster to get you the maximum settlement your policy allows. Your insurer's adjuster works to close claims quickly and within budget โ€” we work to make sure nothing is missed.
Do I pay anything upfront?
No. First Call works on contingency โ€” we earn a percentage of your final settlement only. There is no upfront fee, no hourly charge, and no cost for your initial inspection and policy review. If we don't recover more than your insurer offered, you owe us nothing.
My claim was already settled โ€” is it too late?
Often no. As long as you haven't signed a final release, a supplemental claim may be possible. We review your existing settlement, identify missed scope, and pursue the difference. Don't sign a release or cash a final check before calling us โ€” once you sign, your options are significantly limited.
My claim was denied. Can you help?
Yes. Claim denials are one of our specialties. Many denials are based on exclusions that don't actually apply, or on incomplete documentation of the damage. We review denied claims, identify the path to reopening them, and fight to get them approved with proper evidence.
What is the insurance appraisal clause?
The appraisal clause is a provision in most Texas property insurance policies that allows you to formally dispute a low settlement without going to court. Each side hires an appraiser; if they disagree, they jointly select an umpire. The majority decision is binding. Ryan Lancon is a licensed Texas insurance appraiser and handles this process directly.
